Meet the Editor...

My genuine love of literature and the written word is evident in every piece of editing I do. I have extensive experience of working in literary agencies and smaller, indie publishing companies. I speak at events in my field, as an Acquisitions Editor and digital publishing expert. Additionally, until recently, I was the editor of the hugely popular Self-Publishing Magazine, which gave me a wealth of knowledge about how the industry works from all angles. Now, I am ideally positioned to work with authors who wish to self-publish but want to put their best work out there, as well as with those who want to hone their manuscript further before approaching agents.

I have a BA English degree and an MA in Creative Writing from a Russell Group University, alongside a wealth of experience in editing, publishing and writing, having spent my career working in senior roles in publishing. My guest posts and articles have been published in a range of publications, including: Writing Magazine, The Independent Publishing Magazine, The Alliance of Independent Authors' blog, the Self-Publishing Magazine and BookMachine.
